This is another one of those, perfect Christmas Cards to me!  Santa, animals (including an owl in the tree) little girl and mail flying off the back of the sleigh!
Arrived from Germany

I'm in love with the Blond Series of postcards and am thrilled to get this wonderful Blond Charity Christmas Card.  It's sold in class 7 (10-11 years old) and the profits go to national and international children charities.
Arrived from Netherlands.

This series of Netherlands Postage stamps is the Kinderpostzegels, sold by the children in the Netherlands door to door and the proceeds benefit children's charities.  I love them and Princess Alexia is adorable!  Maybe I'll get lucky and receive the rest on more cards.

Let Heaven and Nature Sing, love this sweet little card.
Arrived from USA.

Dear Christmas Cards, you're so nice to see.

No time for a letter, it's ok.
Pick out a postcard and send along the way.
Your good thoughts and wishes will brighten someone's day!

This letter went to a new penpal here in North America.

Postcards headed to Russia, United Kingdom & Finland.

I love the Kliban Cat Turkey Postcard, and the Penquin Postcard and the Thomas Kinkade Postcard...suppose that means I love them all!  They are on the way to Finland, Belarus and Russia.

The sweet card on the left is a Holly Hill Pond Birthday card headed to Japan and the adorable snowman postcard is from Hallmark headed to China (I'm hoping for safe travel to China, seems mail delivery can be sporadic there).

(Buzz) Edwin Aldrin, Jr. standing on the moon postcard and the The Host from The XFiles headed for Ukraine and Russia.

Kind encouragment,
thoughtful and true.
What a wonderful
thing for you to do.
Thank You!

Christina, I love this card!  Their dresses are amazing, all those details. Thank you for always encouraging me with your kind and thoughtful words!

Mail is slow, I don't know why
It really makes me want to cry.
Where are my cards, why aren't they here
Come on mailman, bring me some cheer!

Today's the day,
let the voting begin.
When you are done,
mail something to a friend!

Here we are in the early am,
I'm writing cards and letters to my faithful friends.
I'm hoping you'll also take the time to get some paper
and pen what's on your mind.
Drop in an envelope and send to your friends
the new week is almost ready to begin.

Oh dear mailbox, what will you bring?
Holiday cards that make me sing?
Letters from friends old and new?
Mail is wonderful,
You should send some too!

Cards and letters are a part of my day,
I wouldn't want it to be any other way.
I send and receive and yes it's true,
The more you send out
The more comes back to you.

Thrift Stores are lovely to me
I never know what I'll see.
Cute old cards,
stationery in a box,
all long forgotten
but still perfect for thoughts.

Home they come
all safe and sound,
time to get ready for another
go around.

Before they depart
I make a few changes,
they get a fresh new look and
now are ageless.

I'm always happy to see boxes like this sitting on a thrift store shelf.  Discarded by prior owners, ignored by other shoppers and just waiting for someone (like me) to give it a new home.  Priced at $1.99, that's just fine.

Took that old worn lid off and found a treasure chest!

Several vintage fold and sends complete with the seals.  I love them all but the one with dogs is my favorite.

Pink, Blue and Cream Stationery with matching envelopes.

Love the edges of this stationery.

Beautiful Gold & White Stationery, this is what originally came in the box.  It's all perfect, in pristine condition...Oh Happy Day!

Purple Polka Dot Iris Stationery

Pink & White Floral Envelopes.

Loved these little Thank You cards-

The back part of these sweet Thank You card's were bent and a bit too yellowed for my taste.  I cut the backs off and attached the fronts to a kraft paper card and then added a little coordinating washi/paper tape.  All freshened up and ready to travel.

I jumped at the chance to pay only a $1.00 for this New Unused Vintage Box of Hallmark Stationery 50 Sheets.

The paper was very basic with nothing printed on it, perfect for me.

Time to dress it up a little-

I'm not sure how but stamps always seem to make their way home with me. ;)  I just picked out a few and some of my favorite color inks and stamped away.

A colorful handmade envelope to complete a little stationery set.

I love bright and happy colors.

Thank You to whomever donated all the wonderful goodies to the thrift store, you made me so happy!  Do you shop at thrift stores too?
