I spotted these bright colored tapes at Target the other day on an endcap full of art supplies.  Of course, they had to come home with me and at $6.99 per container they were easy on my wallet!


Haven't had as much time to pictures of outgoing mail but I did snap this one before it flew away.

Mail mail, oh how can it be
Ebb and flow
And so it goes
Whether caught up or behind
Mail is always on my mind


Kotovasiya Cats-I'm not sure of the "official title" of this card but it looks like they are guards.

Yummy, chocolate bars all tied together in pretty ribbon.  Who wouldn't love to receive that as a gift!

You know the saying, Send Mail to Get Mail.  I've been busy feeding my mailbox fulfilling the first half of the equation. 

Postcards, Letters, Handmade-Decorated Envelopes, Wonderful Stamps and Lovely Quotes have been departing from the 2809 making their way through the postal system all in due time.   

It's always exciting to get cards from far away places. Thank You Postcrossing & Postcrossing Forums for providing a wonderful opportunity to everyone around the world.  If you aren't a member, it's really a lot of fun and the poeple are very nice!

I smile every time a christmas card arrives, this one is from Russia and shows Grandfather Frost and Snowmaiden.  Russian christmas cards always have wonderful vibrant colors!


Sweets from Malaysia

Making envelopes has been on my radar for a long while, taking the time to make them is another story.  Yesterday was the day, too hot to do anything (unless you like to step outside and turn into a melting popsicle), so a movie on netflix, a glass of Orange Sunskist and envelope making were in order.

I picked up a bunch of new postcards to re-stock my touristy selection. I've always loved the Texas Flag card, sure am happy they had some in stock for little ol' me.  Maybe one will make it your way!


Hands down, the very best part of my mail yesterday was finding letters from two penpals.  One from Germany and the other USA!  I love the cards they used to write on! 

Why yes, I'm a huge fan of postcards!  Little works of art, don't you think, at least most of them.  Going to the mailbox and finding a letter or postcard is like getting a little present everyday!  I wish you fun, happy mail each and every day!
